Building Raising

Building raising involves lifting an existing structure to allow for foundation repairs, replacement, or elevation changes without relocating the building. Using modern hydraulic jacking systems and proven techniques, Pollard The Mover safety raises and lowers structures while preserving their integrity and stability throughout the process

Assessment & Planning

Every building raising project begins with a detailed evaluation of the structure, existing foundation, and site conditions. We assess equipment access, ground conditions, structural integrity, and the desired final elevation to develop a safe, precise raising plan. This ensures the structure can be lifted and supported properly throughout the process.

2

Lifting & Support

Steel beams are installed beneath the structure to create a stable lifting framework. Using modern hydraulic and unified jacking systems, the building is carefully raised in controlled, incremental stages, with the structure securely supported at each step of the process. Once the desired height is reached, foundation repairs or the construction of a new foundation can safely commence.

3

Lowering & Completion

After foundation work is complete, the lifting process is carried out in reverse. The Structure is carefully lowered onto the new or modified foundation, with precise adjustments made to ensure proper alignment, level, and stability. The project is completed with the same attention to detail and care applied throughout the raising process
